For more than 15 years, the MidSouth Pharmacy Residents Conference has served as a premier forum for the dissemination of new knowledge, innovative approaches to training and practice, and the development of professional relationships within the field of pharmacy. The 2026 conference featured more than 40 programs representing six states and provided approximately 150 residents with the opportunity to present their research while fostering meaningful professional collaboration.

  1. The 2026 MPRC conference has ended.  Dates for the 2027 conference will be announced in the fall of 2026.

  3. Each year 5-6 hours of live continuing pharmacy education (CPE) are provided to registered conference attendees.

    Keynote Lecture: 1 hour

    Individual Sessions: up to 1 hour per session (5 estimated sessions)

  4. A resident may choose during abstract submission to have their abstract considered as the conference’s Top Abstract.  The MPRC committee will review submissions for this award and choose a recipient based on the following domains:

    • Quality of Science (strength of study design, reproducibility, methods of result analysis)
    • Impact and Significance (novelty, innovation, impact on practice)
    • Writing Style and Quality of Submission (abstract clarity, completeness, grammar, adherence to guidelines)

    The deadline to submit Top Abstracts has passed.
