What is EPIC?
How EPIC Challenge works:
1) Join the challenge
Start by registering your child or class online. With our free and flexible five-lesson format, you can participate from the classroom or home. Once you're signed up, you'll receive an email on how to get started.
2) Unleash your creativity
Access your EPIC Challenge toolkit through the link we'll send in your welcome email. Use the student journal to guide kids through the research design process as they bring their inventions to life.
3) Kids helping kids
Students can share their invention with family and friends and seek "funding" for their idea in the form of donations to their personal fundraising page to support the kids of St. Jude.
Inspiration4 is a first-of-its-kind spaceflight with an ambitious goal for kids here on Earth. St. Jude knows that with the power of imagination great things can happen, which is why we’re asking kids from coast to coast to research, design create and present an invention or idea they think could help kids just like them.
Now through Aug. 1, every EPIC project will be considered by a panel of all-star judges to receive one of the following national achievement awards as part of our first national science fair event.

Thank you for helping St. Jude kids
With your support, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
