Unlike other hospitals, the majority of funding for St. Jude comes from generous donors.

It costs more than $2 billion to sustain and grow St. Jude each year. Your donation will help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.

Your gift will help families facing their darkest moments.

Only 12% of the money to operate St. Jude comes from insurance recoveries. This is vastly different than most other hospitals, which can generate more than 90% of their revenues from insurance recoveries and other sources. We also receive some revenue from research grant funding and returns on our investments.
