Professional development
In addition to the clinical and research training available to clinical fellows, they also enjoy myriad professional development opportunities. During regular seminars and symposia, including the Annual Clinical Fellows’ Research Symposium, fellows benefit from learning from seasoned experts and their peers, as well as gain experience presenting their own findings. Through various simulation activities, career development workshops and leadership opportunities, fellows develop the skills needed to be successful in their careers. Fellows can supplement their knowledge and skills with the financial assistance offered through the coursework scholarship program and the professional development account. Finally, fellows benefit from events focused on targeted career development topics and peer support, such as clinical fellows’ appreciation week and the annual retreat.
