Virtual STEMM Academy

In the Virtual STEMM Academy, we offer a platform to bring our vast data resources to the classroom, teaching students about research design and data analysis through engaging and insightful data stories. Additionally, the program will be used to recruit and prepare a national cohort for the growing St. Jude High School Research Immersion Program and other in-person training events.

Virtual science journal clubs

The St. Jude Virtual Science Journal Club connects high school students with professional scientists. The program consists of three sessions during the Spring semester in which a professional scientist from St. Jude or another local research institution “visits” the classroom via a virtual platform to discuss findings from a scientific journal. This program is suitable for advanced-level biology and chemistry classes.

High School Facilities Operation Management Internship

Students gain hands-on experience in the systems and operations that support a world-class research and healthcare institution while exploring careers in facilities and operations management.
