Memphis STEMM Ambassadors Program
The Memphis STEMM Ambassadors Program is a collaborative partnership within the Memphis STEMM Ecosystem that connects STEMM professionals from partner organizations—including St. Jude and other regional institutions—with Memphis-area K–12 schools. The program is designed to inspire students to explore STEMM learning and careers by engaging with diverse, relatable professionals who reflect the breadth of STEMM pathways in the region.
STEMM Ambassadors participate in a variety of school- and community-based activities, including career talks, classroom visits, science celebrations (e.g., DNA Day), and science fair judging. Ambassadors are available for in-person visits to schools across the Memphis area, with virtual engagement opportunities offered to schools in surrounding regions.
STEMM Education and Outreach internships
Undergraduates with an interest in science education and outreach are encouraged to apply to the STEMM Education and Outreach Internship. Interns will work under the direction of the St. Jude STEMM Education and Outreach team to facilitate the St. Jude Afterschool STEMM Clubs at selected elementary and middle schools in the Memphis area.
