St. Jude patient Thompson, age 5, eye cancer, from Alabama

Thank you for attending the fourth annual St. Jude Field of Dreams, benefiting the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Guests enjoyed a sit-down dinner, a live and silent auction and musical entertainment by The Undergrounders. Your contributions help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

MEET PATIENT THOMPSON

Thompson was diagnosed at 6 months old with bilateral retinoblastoma cancer. His mother Missy relates his journey to that of a hero in a children's storybook because Thompson has taught his family to always fight and never give up.
