Run Rich Run

St. Jude patient Allana greets Rich Eisen

In 2005, sports journalist Rich Eisen asked Super Bowl XXXII MVP Terrell Davis, "How fast do you think I can run the 40?" and so began Eisen’s tradition of closing out the NFL Scouting Combine by running the 40 yard dash … in his suit.

Soon after, fans got into the spirit by submitting videos of themselves running the 40 in their work attire as part of the Run Rich Run campaign. For a third year in 2017, Rich Eisen and NFL Network decided to ask fans to do more than just run the 40 but to also donate to St. Jude. Fans submitting videos had the opportunity to be highlighted on NFL Network during the broadcast of Rich’s run.

NFL PLAY 60

For a healthy child, playing 60 minutes a day is a given. For a child battling cancer, it would be a gift. That’s why the NFL is supporting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

As The Official Champion of Play at St. Jude, NFL PLAY 60 has pledged to support the needs of the St. Jude Child Life program, which helps children cope with the stress of their illness through therapeutic play and other activities, promoting development, self-expression and peer interaction.

From patient care to program development, Child Life is an integral part of the medical team at St. Jude.

Together, we can ensure all kids have the chance to Play 60.

Help end childhood cancer

Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent to more than 80 percent since it opened more than 50 years ago. We won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
