Promesa y Esperanza® annual seminar held January 19 and 20

The annual St. Jude Promesa y Esperanza® Seminar was held on January 19 and 20 in Memphis, Tennessee. The seminar was attended by 300 Latino representatives of radio, television and digital media, as well as celebrities, executives of record companies, corporate partners and volunteers.

Promesa y Esperanza is a radiothon program that raises funds and awareness about the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in the Hispanic community around the country. Since its inception in 1997, Promesa y Esperanza has raised over $130 million to help St. Jude fight childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.

Alan Ramirez & Oswaldo Silvas, from Banda MS, were among the famous Latin celebrities that attended the seminar, as well as Jon Secada; Angie, Gus & Abelardo, from Vazquez Sounds; Horacio Palencia; Tony Melendez Jr.; Tony Dandrades, from Primer Impacto; Oliver Ortiz and Banda La Maravillosa. Dr. César Lozano was the special guest speaker.
