More than 250 Hispanic celebrities and media and radio industry leaders attended the Promesa y Esperanza seminar for supporters of the Promesa y Esperanza radiothon, which raises funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Grammy-winning Mexican band Intocable performed at the seminar and announced a five-year fundraising commitment to St. Jude. The Promesa radiothon has raised more than $110 million for St. Jude since its inception in 1997. Seminar participants enjoyed musical entertainment and visiting with St. Jude patients. Media groups in attendance included: La Prensa Latina, El Norte News, Media Vista, Univision Phoenix, BELLO Mag, La Raza Newspaper, Univision Chicago, Univision Fresno, El Palo Magazine and Univision Los Angeles.
