Gracie was just eight months old when she was diagnosed with blood cancer.

“I just remember the doctor came in and said she thought Gracie had leukemia ... that was kind of it. It was just an utter shock,” said Gracie’s mom.

But in the scariest moment of their lives, her mom knew where she wanted her baby to be: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Her mom knew all about St. Jude because she had helped to raise money for the hospital as a member of Tri Delta Sorority in college.

That was kind of it. It was just an utter shock.
