Postdoc Coordinator
Postdoctoral Coordinator Karyn Lawrence is dedicated to providing support, information and advice to all postdoctoral fellows at St. Jude. As well as overseeing relocation needs, she is an invaluable resource for questions regarding all aspects of postdoc life, from work in the lab to housing, banking, government services, schools and other community resources.

Since most of our postdocs are from outside Memphis, we make it a priority to introduce new members of our community to our vibrant city. We’ll work closely with you to ensure your relocation to Memphis goes smoothly, and share advice about great places for dining, culture, night life, family fun, outdoor recreation and more.

Postdoc lounge
Postdocs enjoy access to a lounge that is exclusively for their use. The lounge is a beautifully designed place to come together, meet new people, exchange ideas or just relax. The room has a small kitchen, cable TV and access to three small offices that can be reserved for studying or phone interviews.
Socials
Social gatherings organized throughout the year provide a casual forum to meet other fellows with shared scientific, cultural, or personal interests. In the fast-paced world of research, these gatherings provide a great way to relax, get out of the lab for a while, and build relationships with friends and colleagues.
