There are great research institutions, great hospitals and great charities — St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is all three.
You can help kids, like Bella, by giving in many ways:
A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a philanthropic giving vehicle that provides an immediate tax benefit to you, and allows you to recommend grants to charities of your choice over time.
You can give through individual retirement accounts (IRAs), gift annuities, stocks, life insurance, bequests, real estate and more.
Federal and military employees can give through the Combined Federal Campaign each year. Our charity code is #10560.
Make work more fun. Host a fundraiser, give through payroll deduction or see if your employer will match gifts to St. Jude.

It will cost approximately $1 billion to operate St. Jude this year and the majority of that must come from generous donors. Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20 percent when we opened to more than 80 percent today.
And, no family ever receives a bill from St. Jude — not for the cost of treatment, travel, housing and food because we believe all a family should worry about is helping their child live.
For the past seven years, 82 cents of every dollar received has gone to support the treatment, research and future needs of St. Jude.
The majority of funds needed to operate and sustain St. Jude must be raised from generous donors, but we also receive some revenue from insurance recoveries, research grant funding and returns on our investments. When you look at total revenue, ALSAC and St. Jude are proud that 82 cents of every dollar received has gone to support patients and research at St. Jude today and in the future. Read more about our unique operating model and future plans.
American Lebanese Syrian Associated Charities (ALSAC) was founded by Danny Thomas in 1957 to be the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and its sole mission is to raise the funds and awareness necessary to operate and maintain the hospital. ALSAC is responsible for raising 80% of the funds necessary to operate St. Jude. Learn more about why you should support our mission and our unique operating model.
From human resources, to marketing, to regional field representatives, ALSAC is always looking for the brightest professionals to join our lifesaving mission across the country. Find jobs and apply.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is exempt from federal income taxes under Section 501(C)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore your gift is tax-deductible to the full extent provided by law.
St. Jude is a nonprofit charity operating since 1962. Our federal tax identification number is 62-0646012. You should consult your financial planner or tax adviser to determine the exact tax advantages of any gift you are considering.

Thank you for your support of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where families never receive a bill for anything.
Thank you for your interest, but St. Jude does not have a program to collect aluminum can tabs. If you wish, you may recycle your tabs locally and donate proceeds to St. Jude.
Many of our patients and their families stay at our local Ronald McDonald House here in Memphis, and Ronald McDonald House Charities collect aluminum can tabs. We recommend contacting your local Ronald McDonald House for more information.

We appreciate your generosity, but St. Jude does not accept donations of hair, as we do not have the facilities to make wigs. You might consider making your donation of hair to another organization that specializes in these kinds of gifts.
