Creating your legacy
When you leave St. Jude in your estate plans or give another legacy gift, your generosity earns you optional membership in a special community of supporters called the Danny Thomas — St. Jude Society, who have helped to ensure that our patients receive world-class care.
The children of St. Jude are so grateful for your support, and when you designate a gift to St. Jude in your estate plans, if you wish, you'll become part of a unique group of supporters as a member of The Danny Thomas — St. Jude Society.

Named for St. Jude founder Danny Thomas, this distinct group of donors has made the ultimate commitment to carry on Danny’s legacy to help save the lives of children around the world.
What is a legacy gift?
A legacy gift is a future gift that you plan for now that benefits a nonprofit or charity after your lifetime. When you plan a legacy gift for St. Jude, you make an impact for children around the world with cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
The St. Jude Legacy Wall is another way of honoring you for making a commitment to St. Jude in your estate plans.
When you generously plan a legacy gift to St. Jude, your name will be part of our campus in Memphis, Tennessee, as a permanent tribute to your faithful support. To show our appreciation for your gift, we will inscribe your name on the St. Jude Legacy Wall located in the Danny Thomas Research Center.
Our patients, their families and our staff will be inspired every day by your generosity.
In 1962, the year that St. Jude opened, Danny Thomas began building a legacy with the dream: "No child should die in the dawn of life." Since then, St. Jude has made a tremendous impact in the lives of children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases from all 50 states and around the world.
Legacy giving provides you a unique opportunity to further Danny Thomas' dream and shape the future of St. Jude for years to come.
Families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped push the overall childhood cancer survival rate from 20% to more than 80% since it opened in 1962. St. Jude won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
St. Jude shares its discoveries with doctors and scientists in your community and around the world, so every child saved at St. Jude means thousands more children are also saved.
