St. Jude National Graduate Student Symposium (NGSS)

The St. Jude National Graduate Student Symposium (NGSS) is an all-expenses-paid event held each spring on the St. Jude campus in Memphis, Tennessee.

This competitive academic and professional development event allows PhD-level graduate students from U.S. institutions to present their own work, in addition to learning about the cutting-edge research and facilities at St. Jude.

Neither the symposium nor the application process is advertised; thus, students can only apply if they have either received an invitation from St. Jude, or are nominated by a faculty advisor.

To nominate one (or more) PhD candidates to be invited to apply for the NGSS, faculty may select the link below. Nominations must be received by October 31 in the year prior to the symposium.

Nominations for the 2016 NGSS are closed. Nominations for the 2017 NGSS will open in February 2016.
