Thank you for joining us for an unforgettable weekend in Las Vegas in support of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital!
The weekend kicked off on Thursday, September 7, 2023 with the Welcome Reception at Resorts World, followed by a 144-person golf tournament at Revere Golf Club on Friday, September 8, where golfers enjoyed breakfast, a bloody mary bar and lunch. That evening, attendees savored the many delectable culinary options offered by Resorts World during the Tasting.
On Saturday, September 9, we returned to Resorts World for the Fashion Soirée, which featured cocktails, dinner, fashion and live entertainment, followed by The Daniel Negreanu Poker Tournament, a turbo live poker tournament that featured a chance to win a seat to the 2024 World Series of Poker Main Event.
All proceeds from this event benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.
For information on becoming a sponsor at next year's event, contact Erica Thompson at erica.thompson@alsac.stjude.org.

Golfers spent Friday morning playing a round of golf at the beautiful Revere Golf Club located in Henderson, where they also enjoyed breakfast, a bloody mary bar, lunch and an awards presentation.

The Fashion Soirée was an unforgettable evening of St. Jude mission moments, a delectable dining experience, premium open bar, a first-class live auction, live entertainment and the stunning designs of Anne Fontaine, featuring Anne Fontaine herself. After the Soirée, guests danced under the stars to the music of DJ Van on the Rose Rooftop.
St. Jude supporters and the Charity Series of Poker played poker for the cause during The Daniel Negreanu Poker Tournament, featuring Daniel himself! The winner of this turbo live poker tournament walked away with a $10,000 seat at the 2024 World Series of Poker Main Event!

Viva St. Jude at a glance
-
One red wagon
Wagons are the preferred mode of travel through the halls of the hospital and around campus for our younger patients.
-
One red blood cell transfusion
Children undergoing treatment for cancer and other life-threatening diseases often need transfusions.
-
One hour of physical therapy
Physical therapy is provided to patients because children with life-threatening diseases like cancer may develop developmental, cognitive or physical impairments as a result of their illnesses and their treatments.
-
Parent necessities for 20 patient families
Parents who bring their children to St. Jude often leave home in a hurry and forget to pack day-to-day necessities such as shampoos, razors, deodorant, toothbrushes and lotion. At Tri Delta Place, our short-term housing facility, parents can obtain these essentials free of charge.
-
An ultrasound study for a St. Jude patient
An ultrasound study is among the diagnostic imaging tests that doctors use to diagnose and monitor disease and treatment.
-
Daily room rate of the ICU
The Intensive Care Unit at St. Jude has twice been recognized with the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence given by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. In 2009, the St. Jude ICU became Tennessee’s first ICU to win the honor.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
One in five children diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer. With your support, we’ll be one step closer to that day. One cure closer. One child closer. Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
