With annual giving exceeding $1 million, it’s clear that FedEx is committed to the mission of finding cures and saving children.

ALSAC/St. Jude has benefitted from the FedEx charitable shipping account since 1998. This equates to a cost savings of more than $300,000 per year that can be directed instead to our life-saving mission.

FedEx became the title sponsor of the Memphis-based PGA TOUR stop in 1986 and St. Jude became the sole charity beneficiary of the tournament (i.e. FedEx St. Jude Classic). FedEx took a hiatus from the title sponsorship from 2007 to 2010, but returned in 2011 to continue its success. To date, the FedEx St. Jude Classic has raised more than $26 million for the hospital and is broadcasted on major cable and network television each June. It has also features some of the best golfers in the world, including #1 PGA Tour Pro Rory McIlroy as well as Phil Mickelson and Dustin Johnson.

In 2002, St. Jude partnered with FedEx to create the FedEx St. Jude Angels and Stars Gala in Miami, FL which has raised nearly $4 million and includes a $45,000 annual commitment from FedEx to be the title sponsor.

FedEx Corporation CEO Fred Smith has also served as Co-Chair of the Professional Advisory Board for ALSAC/St. Jude.
