I feel like I’m part of the team ... and they make me feel that way. They don’t look at me any less than any other person in their group.

Quincy Newson, ALSAC Liaison Office Intern

What I enjoyed most about my internship experience was, being able to work in an environment that had purpose and meaning. Finding cures and saving children. Knowing that the work I did mattered to someone and that I played a role in saving a life.

While the internship was all virtual because of COVID-19, I still felt like I had the most valuable experience. I enjoyed learning about the organization and working with such a strong and inspiring group of people. My team was extremely welcoming and I was able to make lifelong connections and friendships throughout my internship. I valued how motivated and encouraging all of my team members were and I learned more from them than I thought was possible. I know that I will always be inspired to help the organization in any way possible.

What I enjoyed most about my internship was the shadowing experiences I got to do. I also enjoyed being a part of the Innovation sessions and being able to work with interns from different teams to creatively brainstorm.
