Alana had Hodgkin lymphoma.

She was immediately referred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, a time to stand with those facing childhood cancer.

“The bubbles and the laughter, the skipping and the dancing, it’s been this way the entire journey,” said her mom.

Alana also took part in the Transition Oncology Program, which is designed to help children adjust to life after treatment.
