The Professional Disc Golf Committee brought the fun of disc golf to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in advance of the inaugural St. Jude Disc Golf Charity Invitational, to be held in Seaside, California in May. This three-day event presents a unique partnership between St. Jude, the Professional Disc Golf Association (PDGA) and the international disc golf community to raise funds and awareness for the children of St. Jude. Disc golf combines the rules and etiquette of 15th century traditional golf with the 20th century competition of throwing a flying disc. The PDGA is an international organization with about 50,000 members.
