Together for Devon

age 9, cancerous tumor

Devon is the youngest of the family. He and his three older brothers have always been active boys. In 2013, Devon’s family was devastated to learn he suffered from a cancerous tumor. At St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, his treatment has included chemotherapy, radiation therapy, a natural killer (NK) cell transplant and an antibody treatment.

Devon, who is in third grade, loves to play video games with his brothers, ride his bike and travel.

St. Jude has provided so much for all of us,” said Devon’s mom. “The support is incredible, you know people care.” Despite everything Devon has been through, he’s remained upbeat.

“I can go through this with a smile or a frown, and I’d rather go through it with a smile.”
