Fifth Avenue Snowflake Lighting

November 18, 2026 | Fifth Avenue & 57th Street

Join us as the Fifth Avenue Snowflake is illuminated by St. Jude patient, Faith, to usher in the beginning of the holiday season in NYC. The snowflake will shine brightly during the holiday season in honor of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the important work they do for children and families facing pediatric cancer and other life-threatening diseases from around the world. This celebration is part of a community-wide movement united in the desire to help St. Jude continue its mission: Finding cures. Saving children.® Thanks to generous donors, families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.

The event, hosted by St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital ®, the Fifth Avenue Snowflake for Humanity Foundation and the Fifth Avenue Association, is free and open to the public.

Programming details for the official illumination ceremony will be announced in the coming weeks including the host, entertainment, and location. Follow @stjudenyc on social media for updates.

In addition, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital will also host their Inaugural St. Jude Snowflake Ball on Thursday, December 3, 2026 at 6 PM at The Plaza Hotel with an exclusive performance by ten-time GRAMMY winner Norah Jones. For more information visit stjude.org/snowflakeball.
