Your support helps kids like Ava
Last year Ava’s mom found a lump on Ava’s neck. She took her to their local doctor where tests showed more lumps in Ava’s belly. At just 6 years old, Ava had a cancerous tumor. She was referred to St. Jude, where doctors placed her on a treatment plan to try and save her life.
And thanks to generous donors, families like Ava’s never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live. Ava’s mom is so thankful for St. Jude. She said, “When you arrive at St. Jude, you get the feeling that you are home. The doctors are so down to earth, and I know Ava is getting the best care.”
Give back this holiday season
With a gift from the St. Jude Gift Shop, showing someone you care comes with the bonus of helping those in need. Your impact is real. When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate from 20% to more than 80% in the United States, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
