The Division of Pharmaceutical Services intentionally and purposefully focuses on supporting St. Jude’s dual mission of advancing research and providing superior clinical care. Our dedicated and talented team of pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other personnel help to ensure that every patient receiving drug therapy at St. Jude does so in a manner to achieve the best possible outcomes. The clinical mission of the Division is to provide the highest quality comprehensive clinical pharmaceutical care to our patients, and to facilitate the generation of new knowledge related to the use of drug therapy. These goals are achieved by relying on personnel and systems which assure the best provision of pharmacy operational and clinical services, with a constant attention to analysis and improvement of our functions.

The Division of Pharmaceutical Services continues to lead the nation in pediatric pharmacy operations and in/outpatient and clinical services. Our elite team of clinical pharmacists ensures every patient at St. Jude receives the best care possible through the safe, effective and rationale use of drug therapy. The clinical mission of the Division is to provide the highest quality comprehensive clinical pharmaceutical care to children with catastrophic diseases and facilitate the generation of new knowledge related to the use of drug therapy. St. Jude maintains some of the most sophisticated pharmacy informatics pipelines and fosters seamless integration between pharmacists and other clinicians throughout the hospital.
Pharmaceutical Services include:
This unit is dedicated to the coordination and support of all medication aspects of the design and conduct of clinical trials. We are integrated into St. Jude Central Protocol and Data Monitoring Office. Support activities include consultation with feasibility measurements, protocol development and consent information, drafting medication sections of standardized order sets, and set up and maintenance of investigational drug accountability records.
