Halic Lab Team

After earning his BS from the University of Zagreb in Croatia and his PhD from Humbolt University in Germany, Dr. Mario Halic completed postdoctoral fellowships under Dr. Danesh Moazed at Harvard Medical School. He returned to Germany to serve as group leader of the Gene Center at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, a position he held for seven years before joining the Department of Structural Biology at St. Jude in 2018. Dr. Halic leads a growing research program at St. Jude, studying how cells regulate the expression of their genome.
