About Markos Leggas, PhD

Dr. Markos Leggas is a Member of the Department of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and director of the Center for Translational Pharmacology. Leveraging his academic training in chemistry and biomedical engineering, Dr. Leggas leads a team of scientists in pharmacologic research that aims to bring effective treatments to pediatric patients with catastrophic diseases. His research interests range from evaluating pharmacometabolomic methods to improve outcomes in clinical trials to establishing systems pharmacology approaches to guide drug development and therapy.
