The Biostatistics Shared Resource (BSR) located within the St. Jude Comprehensive Cancer Center (SJCCC) has the unwavering mission of providing comprehensive and state-of-the-art biostatistical support for study design, and study execution as well as data analysis and interpretation for laboratory, translational, and clinical investigations. Most of the faculty members in Biostatistics are members of the Biostatistics Shared Resource. Members of the BSR also participate in preparing grant proposals and play an active role in institutional scientific review and ethics committees. Our steadfast support at all stages of the translational pipeline ensures that even the most complex data are gathered, analyzed, and presented in the most appropriate and meaningful manner. The BSR maintains a centralized randomization system, manages access to statistical software, and advises on data capture and management. Members of the BSR continue to develop new and innovative statistical approaches to improve the design, analysis, and interpretation of challenging data, including high dimensional genomic or imaging data etc.
