The Cell Microinjection Facility uses a microprocessor-controlled semiautomatic microinjection apparatus to allow St. Jude researchers to precisely control the amount and timing of protein and DNA introduction into cells. Advanced imaging capabilities allow direct observation of the effects of these agents on such functions as cell cycle control, apoptosis, and signal transduction. The facility can perform live cell imaging experiments.
