Maizy's story
Maizy, at 4 years old, has no fear of doctors. In fact, one of her favorite things is pretending to be one: specifically, her St. Jude doctor, who is treating her for acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
Maizy was diagnosed with this form of blood cancer in December 2023, after her parents noticed swollen lymph nodes in her neck. She was quickly referred to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, where she started a chemotherapy treatment plan.
It’s been a rough path so far, but Maizy is tough.

In addition to being brave, Maizy is outgoing, smart and loving. And her favorite stuffy, called Pink Bunny, goes with her everywhere.
