When Emma Polusny stepped into co-ownership of Game Show Studio with her dad just a few months ago, she also stepped into a community of causes already woven into the company’s story. “As my dad and I became new owners of Game Show Studio, we were introduced to the incredible St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital partnership and the opportunity to connect with families across Minnesota,” explained Emma.
With the annual St. Jude Walk only weeks away, the team packed up their studio of games to bring Game Show Studio right to walk participants. “Our team loves connecting with friends and families,” said Emma. “The chance to share in laughs and fun, while playing game shows at the St. Jude Walk was an incredible first connection with the mission of St. Jude.”
House Rules: Family First
Emma grew up in a game‑night household—just don’t suggest Monopoly. “My dad used to play Monopoly with his buddies back in high school every day,” she laughs. “So, no Monopoly in our family. But we were a big, big board games family. We still are.”
That lifelong love of friendly competition fuels the Studio’s mission to give every family an experience to remember.
Bonus Board: Experiences Everyone Can Play
Family is more than a theme at Game Show Studio—it’s the house rule. Emma’s pathway to entrepreneurship literally runs through her living room. “Getting to work with my dad has just been awesome,” smiled Emma. “It continues to bring our own family closer.”
That spirit of togetherness is exactly what makes the partnership with St. Jude feel so natural. Game Show Studio brings joy, play, and a shared experience for family, friends, and coworkers.
“We work really hard to ensure that we know who is coming to play and customize the experience for them,” said Jon Horsman, executive producer at Game Show Studio. “For kids, it’s getting down on their level and matching their energy level. They may not be able to solve the big puzzle, but they can come up with a letter and dancing uninhibited always wins our dance contests.”
The shared dedication to creating an experience for kids, continues to inspire Game Show Studio and their partnership with St. Jude.
Whether it’s a big team outing or a family celebrating a milestone, Game Show Studio’s format is built for participation. “We love to welcome kids and families to the studio and be a source of connection and entertainment,” said Emma.
Lightning Round: A Community That Feels Like Home
What stood out most during the St. Jude Walk wasn’t just the energy, it was the togetherness. “I can already see that the St. Jude community here in Minnesota is like a family,” said Emma. “Once you become part of you, you stay involved.”
Final Frenzy: What’s Next
Game Show Studio is ready to keep rolling, spinning, buzzing, and cheering — so more families can step into the spotlight together. When the mission is this meaningful, the scoreboard is simple: more smiles, more memories, more moments that matter.
