More than 9,000 patients were seen at St. Jude, most of whom are treated on a continuing outpatient basis as part of ongoing research programs and account for approximately 75,000 hospital visits a year.
6,863 patients are enrolled in the St. Jude LIFE program, a research study that brings St. Jude childhood cancer survivors back to the hospital for regular health screenings.
Around 750 sickle cell patients are being treated in the St. Jude Sickle Cell program.
471 students attended the St. Jude school program in fiscal year 2025.
26 Child Life Specialists are on staff. The Child Life Program reduces stress and anxiety by helping children cope with the challenges of health care and hospitalization in an age-appropriate way.
They are so diligent and caring. The doctors and nurses are so responsive. I’m so appreciative to have a place like St. Jude to help me and my child during this time.
