Academy Sports + Outdoors is proud to partner with St. Jude during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September and the St. Jude Thanks and Giving® holiday campaign by selling long-sleeved T-shirts and donating 25% of each purchase to St. Jude.
In 2020, Academy Sports + Outdoors participated in their first St. Jude Thanks and Giving® campaign by selling long-sleeved T-shirts and donating 25% of each purchase to St. Jude. Despite having sold these T-shirts during previous holiday seasons, this was the first time they supported a charity.
The following year, they expanded their success by selling holiday-themed long-sleeved T-shirts both in store and online, raising an impressive $500,292.
In 2022, ASO continued their partnership by adding lounge pants to the product promotion and raised an astonishing $1 million for St. Jude. During their 2023 campaign, ASO raised $537,877, and in 2024 ASO raised $552,289.
Overall, Academy Sports + Outdoors has raised $2,740,458 for St. Jude.
Academy Sports + Outdoors and their customers are planning to support St. Jude again during the upcoming holiday season and continue making a difference in 2025.
Through its support, Academy Sports + Outdoors is helping to ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.
