The Division of Ophthalmology at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital provides comprehensive treatment for both primary ocular and orbital cancers. Chemotherapy, laser treatments, cryotherapy and radiation are used to preserve vision. Additionally, cataract and strabismus surgery rehabilitate the vision of children whose eyesight has been affected by their cancer. A comprehensive team of ophthalmologists from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center provides expertise in oncology, plastic and reconstruction, strabismus, retina, uveitis, cornea/external disease and glaucoma.
