Michelle Fernando (Schwarz Lab) wins First Place at the 8th Annual Postdoctoral Sympsoium

Michelle's poster presentation "Investigating the role of norepinephrine in diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma growth" took home the top prize at this annual event hosted by the St. Jude Comprehensive Cancer Center in January 2022.

Schwarz receives McKnight Foundation Neurobiology of Brain Disorders Award

Congratulations to Lindsay Schwarz who is the 2021 recipient of the McKnight Foundation’s Neurobiology of Brain Disorders Awards. This award provides funding that encourages research aimed at translating laboratory discoveries about the brain and nervous system into diagnoses and therapies to improve human health.
