About Wilson Clements

Wilson Clements is a cook, dad, developmental biologist, hematologist and reformed English major. He joined the St. Jude faculty in 2012. His nontraditional route to academic science led through years as a bookstore employee and ski bum. He is a fifth generation professor. He was honored as St. Jude Mentor of the Year in 2018 and is gratified to see all lab alumni now actively pursuing science as professors, attending physicians, industry scientists, medical students and postdoctoral fellows.
