About Xiang Chen

Dr. Xiang Chen received his PhD from Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA before completing his postdoctoral training at Yale University where he specialized in algorithm development and data analysis for GWAS and gene expression data studies. He currently serves as an Assistant Member in the Department of Computational Biology at St. Jude. He leads a highly collaborative team focused on the development and application of novel analytical methods for high-throughput, multi-platform omics data in delineating genetic alterations and epigenetic deregulations in pediatric solid tumors. Dr. Chen has co-authored dozens of publications and has played an instrumental role in advancing our understanding of pediatric solid tumor relapse.
