OVERVIEW

Cell and Tissue Imaging Center Light Microscopy (CTIC-LM) is open to all St. Jude researchers and offers a wide range of cutting-edge imaging technologies.  A team of PhD-level imaging scientists provides expert-level support on sample preparation, imaging, and image data processing techniques.

IMPACT

Minimal recharge requirements allow core staff to perform extensive methods validation and make an intellectual contribution to many projects.  The core also presents technology lectures throughout the year and provides educational resources.  During 2024 alone, CTIC-LM engaged over 150 users from more than 60 labs in 10+ departments. CTIC-LM staff were also co-authors on several St. Jude publications.
