Hundreds of patients and their siblings dressed in costumes of their favorite movie characters, superheroes and cartoon characters to participate in the annual Halloween Trick-or-Treat event at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Halloween is like no other day on the calendar at St. Jude—a collection of candy, creativity and fun.
At each destination along the candy trail, clinicians, scientists and support staff members distributed candy and goodies to the children. A few members from each department took part in reverse trick-or-treating, delivering candy to patients in their rooms. Each department selected a theme for the event and decorated their areas throughout the hospital for the event.
Nearly 50 departments joined the fun to make Halloween a special day for patients and families.
