Everyone's support makes a difference
When St. Jude opened in 1962, childhood cancer was largely considered incurable. Since then, St. Jude has helped push the overall survival rate in the U.S. from 20% to more than 80%, and we won't stop until no child dies from cancer.
In the years ahead, an estimated 89% of the funds necessary to sustain and grow St. Jude must be raised from generous donors. This is why supporters are so important in fulfilling the promise of St. Jude founder Danny Thomas, who believed that "no child should die in the dawn of life."
Thanks to St. Jude, we have a bright future ahead of us. Anybody and everybody that contirubutes anything to this place ... they are changing people's lives.

Family is number one. I can't imagine if we were somewhere that medical bills were racking up and having to constantly think about what's more important — spending the time or keep pushing to make more money.

That was a relief for our family, the fact that St. Jude doesn't bill you. I didn't have to worry about how I'm going to pay for my kid's chemo.
