What is the St. Jude car donation program?
The St. Jude car donation program allows you to donate a car to charity in a simple and convenient way. We’ve partnered with Charitable Adult Rides and Services (CARS) to make donating a car to charity easier than ever. Vehicle donations are simple and eligible for tax deductions.
*From July 1, 2023 through June 30, 2024, CARS will donate 80% of the net sales proceeds from each donated vehicle to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital®.

How to donate a car to St. Jude
Using the CARS vehicle donation program makes donating a car easy. Just follow the simple steps outlined below.
Fill out the secure CARS vehicle donation form below or call (855) 500-RIDE (7433) to register your vehicle. Where specified, select St. Jude as your charity of choice for your vehicle donation.
Schedule a free pickup
A CARS representative will contact you within 24 hours to schedule a pickup by a licensed tow company at no cost to you.
Note: A Certificate of Title will be required at the time of vehicle pickup.
Get tax receipts
The tow company will give you a pick-up receipt to use for tax purposes. Once your vehicle is sold, you will receive a tax receipt within 30 days of the sale if you provided your tax identification number at the time of your initial donation.
