Phi Delta Chi collegiate and alumni chapters from across the country are raising money and awareness to support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.
The Phi Delta Chi Shadow Day is an opportunity for a top fundraising Phi Delta Chi chapter to send a Brother to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to shadow the pharmacy department for one day.
The shadow day will either take place Tuesday, June 12, Wednesday, June 13 or Thursday, June 14 depending on the hospital’s availability as well as the chosen student’s availability.
The shadow day will include a customized experience getting a tour of the St. Jude hospital, main pharmacy department, meeting with St. Jude pharmacists, as well as shadowing rounds. The shadow day incentive includes travel to from Memphis, Tennessee, food during the shadow day, and lodging for the one or two night stay.
In order to apply, your chapter must have raised a minimum of $4,000 in the 2017 – 2018 academic year. This includes funds from the St. Jude Walk/Run, Prescription for Hope, or St. Jude Up ‘til Dawn. If you do not know how much your chapter raised, please email Phi Delta Chi’s St. Jude liaison Brandon Hill at email@example.com.
At this time, this opportunity is limited to students preparing for clinical rotations this Fall (i.e., third year students at four-year programs, and second year students at three-year programs) with an interest in pursuing residency post-graduation.
