The second biennial Evening of Hope Gala was held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles and raised over $5.5 million for the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: Finding Cures. Saving Children. Everywhere. Guided by the theme “Infinite Light”, the evening celebrated the idea that within each of us lies a powerful light capable of creating a lasting legacy, much like Danny Thomas’. Guests were invited to use their light to create a beacon of hope for the patients and families we serve worldwide.
Tony Thomas presented the Founder’s Award to event chairs Lee and Mickey Segal for only the second time since his father’s passing, and Randy Owen receiving the award in 2007. St. Jude patient Misheel stole the show reciting a beautiful poem and encouraging guests to support kids like her. The evening concluded with a unique solo performance from Michael McDonald of The Doobie Brothers.
