Please join us for the inaugural St. Jude Global Gala on June 3, 2023, in Washington, DC. Through an exquisite dinner, cocktails, live entertainment, silent and live auctions and Give to Live, you have the opportunity to join St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in its lifesaving mission: Finding cures. Saving children.® Everywhere.
Treatments invented at St. Jude have helped raise the survival rate for children with cancer in the United States, where 4 out of 5 children survive cancer.
In many developing countries, however, only 1 out of 5 children diagnosed with cancer will survive. We won’t stop until no child dies from cancer, no matter where they live.
All proceeds from this event benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, where families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — so they can focus on helping their child live.

Meet Avyan
What first seemed like a simple childhood virus began to worry Avyan’s parents when it wasn’t resolving. They brought Avyan in to see his local pediatrician who ordered testing, including a scan of his brain.
Neither Avyan nor his parents were expecting what came next ... they were told he had a cancerous tumor in his brain. That's when Avyan was referred to St. Jude.

Meet Azalea
When Azalea's family learned she had rhabdomyosarcoma, Simone and Ricardo knew they wanted the best care for their daughter. So they traveled from Jamaica to St. Jude to begin Azalea's treatment.
"Since we were coming from another country we weren’t sure what to expect,” her mother said. “The only thing we were sure of was that she was in the right place."

Our global impact
Finding cures. Saving children.® Everywhere.
In many high-income countries, access to modern treatments and robust supportive care have resulted in cure rates of more than 80% for children with cancer. But about 90% of children live in low- or middle-income countries.
Too many of those children lack access to adequate diagnosis and treatment.
The emphasis on the global impact of St. Jude is critical to saving children. We won't stop until no child dies from cancer, no matter where they live.
