At St. Jude, no child faces cancer alone. We heal as a community. St. Jude provides health care to children across the country and around the world, regardless of race, religion or economic ability. Because the majority of St. Jude funding comes from generous donors, we have the freedom to focus on what matters most — saving as many kids as we can.

- Understanding countries of origin and language barriers, such as limited English proficiency, can help inform the cultural and linguistic context of our patients.
- During treatment, St. Jude provides whole-patient care — this includes support for nutrition, education, child life, and therapies — to help families and optimize patient outcomes.
- Hispanic children experience higher rates of Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) and differences in survival outcomes, though research suggests these disparities are influenced by a range of factors that extend beyond ethnicity alone.
- Acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) is a cancer of the blood and bone marrow and it is the most common form of childhood cancer.
