Kia became a proud supporter of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 2022 and partners with St. Jude through the company’s “Accelerate the Good” charitable initiative, supporting St. Jude through its end-of-year savings event.
As part of the campaign, Kia made a substantial investment in advertising featuring St. Jude patients and made a donation for each new Kia car sold or leased during the campaign, which amounted to a total donation of $1.1 million and garnered national media exposure. The commercial was shot on the St. Jude campus and featured St. Jude patients participating in a virtual "Holiday Joyride" to the North Pole.
In 2022, Kia also served as a $250,000 National Series Sponsor of the St. Jude Walk/Run series, and raised additional funds through peer-to-peer fundraising; donated to St. Jude as part of the 10 millionth Kia vehicle sold in the U.S.; and again as part of the groundbreaking announcement for a new EV assembly plant in the state of Georgia.
To date, Kia has donated more than $1.6 million to the lifesaving mission of St. Jude.
Kia will once again support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude in 2023 through its "Accelerate the Good" campaign, and will continue to make substantial investments in advertising featuring St. Jude and will donate per every car sold or leased during the campaign with a minimum guaranteed donation of $1.5 million.*
