cis-X is a new computational method for the discovery of noncoding regulatory variants in individual cancer genomes that will cause cis-activation of target gene transcription.

• cis-X is available through Docker (Download the Source Code), which provides an easy way to set up the tool and run it across different computing platforms.
• The source code in cis-X package is freely available for academic use (Download the package V1.4.0, including reference files). Follow the instructions to prepare the tool.
• cis-X is maintained on GitHub at https://github.com/stjude/cis-x. It is licensed under the Apache License 2.0.
• Read the instructions first to install and configure cis-X.
