St. Jude HPV Cancer Prevention Program Celebrates Five Years
On International HPV Awareness Day, the St. Jude HPV Cancer Prevention Program celebrates our five-year anniversary—an important milestone that reflects the dedication of St. Jude to cancer prevention. The 2026 HPV Awareness Day Seminar Series provides an opportunity to recognize progress, celebrate partnerships, and renew our shared commitment to eliminating HPV cancers. This year’s seminars spotlight the major initiatives of our program, reflecting the dedication and collaboration that continues to support increases in HPV vaccination coverage for all children.
Hear from senior director of the HPV Cancer Prevention Program, Heather Brandt, PhD, as she reflects on the progress of the program over the last five years and looks forward to the future.
This seminar outlines the program’s rural HPV vaccination strategy through data, delivery, and dialogue showing how rural-relevant data, strengthened vaccination delivery, and trusted partnerships improve outcomes. It also highlights how monitoring policy, funding, and vaccination trends enhances each driver and supports adaptive rural HPV cancer-prevention efforts.
