Thank you for joining us for St. Jude Invest in Hope Los Angeles on Thursday, September 14, 2023 in Los Angeles, California. We gathered to celebrate Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and support the lifesaving mission of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital: Finding cures. Saving children.®
St. Jude Invest in Hope Los Angeles has raised more than $3 million for the children and families of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital since its inception in 2016. We celebrated our eighth anniversary with an immersive and inspirational St. Jude experience and an exclusive outdoor cocktail reception with L.A.'s most influential business leaders atop The Maybourne Hotel.
All proceeds from this event benefit patients and patient families at St. Jude. Families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food – so they can focus on helping their child live.

For information on becoming a sponsor at next year's event, please contact Cameryn Kaylor at

St. Jude provides comprehensive care and health equality for children with cancer and other life-threatening diseases. We tailor treatment for each child's unique needs, improving outcomes for some of the world’s sickest children.

Every dollar makes a difference*

Make a donation today to help St. Jude kids and their families.*

  1. One red blood cell transfusion

Children undergoing treatment for cancer and other life-threatening diseases often need transfusions.

    Donate $250

  2. One hour of physical therapy

Physical therapy is provided to patients because children with life-threatening diseases like cancer may develop developmental, cognitive or physical impairments as a result of their illnesses and their treatments.

    Donate $500

  3. Parent necessities for 20 patient families

Parents who bring their children to St. Jude often leave home in a hurry and forget to pack day-to-day necessities such as shampoos, razors, deodorant, toothbrushes and lotion. At Tri Delta Place, our short-term housing facility, parents can obtain these essentials free of charge.

    Donate $1,000

  4. An ultrasound study for a St. Jude patient

An ultrasound study is among the diagnostic imaging tests that doctors use to diagnose and monitor disease and treatment.

    Donate $2,500

  5. Daily room rate of the ICU

The Intensive Care Unit at St. Jude has twice been recognized with the Beacon Award for Critical Care Excellence given by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. In 2009, the St. Jude ICU became Tennessee’s first ICU to win the honor.

    Donate $5,000

A gold ribbon that symbolizes awareness of childhood cancer for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

One in five children diagnosed with cancer in the U.S. won’t survive. St. Jude won’t stop until no child dies from cancer. With your support, we’ll be one step closer to that day. One cure closer. One child closer. Let’s cure childhood cancer. Together.
