Making a difference at any age

At 10 years old, Cora Butler has already set her goal in life — to become a nurse and help cure cancer.

The Kentucky fourth-grader worked with her school's guidance counselor to hold her own fundraiser, Cora Cares, at school. One year later, Cora has raised over $1,742 for St. Jude.

Donations raised by individual fundraisers, like Cora, help ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live.

They give you hope, even though you’re in the worst circumstance of your life. They don’t give up on your child.
