- Consider dedicating your birthday to St. Jude on Facebook this year. It’s as easy as logging in to Facebook and choosing St. Jude as your charity. or you can learn more, if you're not sure how.
- Raise awareness of childhood cancer, sharing resources to educate people in your network.
- Share that you’re making a donation and encourage your followers to join you in giving back.
5. Give back by volunteering
Though St. Jude is located in Memphis, Tennessee, the work and fundraising of St. Jude is worldwide. You can volunteer your time and talents from almost anywhere. It can be one time, or it can be an ongoing commitment, whatever works best for you. You can also get your loved ones or friends to sign up with you for extra fun and accountability. You can make a positive change for yourself and others this year. In fact, research shows that when you donate to others, it can lead to more happiness than spending on yourself.
